This cured meat is made unique by its delicate flavor of roasted meat flavored with a truly unique combination of spices. In order to guarantee a well-preserved product, sodium ascorbate (an antioxidant) and sodium nitrite (preservative) are added, however the finished product does not contain allergens such as gluten and lactose; in addition, monosodium glutamate is not added. Porchetta Rustica Veroni is nothing more than a pork loin heart to which a light layer of bacon has been added to the edges: each slice has the characteristic pink colour, surrounded by whitish veins, which indicate precisely the bacon, and well-marked spices . The product is packaged in aluminum-coated bags and vacuum-packed to keep its aroma intact. The porchetta is sold in formats of around 5.4 kg and can be delivered, thanks to the refrigerated transport used by NATURALEITALIANO, in just two days, to any corner of Europe.
