Parmigiano Reggiano DOP produced by Boni is a semi-fat hard cheese, cooked and slowly matured, produced with unpasteurized and partially skimmed cow's milk, by natural surfacing. This cheese has been aged for 36 months and its shelf life is 180 days. The rind is golden yellow, while the cheese is straw yellow tending to white. The scent is really characteristic, the flavor is tasty but not spicy: in a single bite you will catch one of the most typical flavors of Italian cuisine. The consistency of this cheese is rather compact, minutely grainy. This pack contains 20 pieces of cheese, for a total of 450 g, and is produced in Emilia-Romagna. Parmigiano Reggiano DOP is one of the most used ingredients to make traditional dishes of Italian cuisine. It is usually grated and used to embellish most of the condiments of the first courses. However, its flavor is so good that it can also be enjoyed on its own, in pieces. It fits perfectly in mixed platters alongside the most diverse cured meats, perhaps accompanied by various jams, honey and sparkling or still white wines. Another successful marriage is that between Parmesan and bresaola.
